Trail vs Enduro Mountain Bikes: What’s the Difference?
Trail mountain bikes are designed for riding on a variety of terrain including steep climbs and descents, technical features, and smooth singletrack. They typically have 120-140mm of suspension travel and a more upright riding position. Enduro mountain bikes are designed for racing down technical terrain and performing big jumps. They have longer suspension travel, usually around 160-180mm, and a more aggressive geometry with a lower bottom bracket height and longer wheelbase for stability at high speeds.
