Can You Ride an Electric Dirt Bike on the Road?
In most places, electric dirt bikes are not allowed to be ridden on the road as they are not manufactured to meet the requirements necessary for road use. Additionally, riding off-road vehicles on public roads is illegal in most states, and may result in a ticket or fine. However, some states allow off-road registered motorcycles to be ridden on public roads as long as they have the necessary equipment, including a horn, a headlight, a taillight, turn signals, rearview mirrors, and a license plate.
