How to Easily Replace a Mountain Bike Tube Without Using Tire Levers
First, remove the wheel from the bike and release the air from the tube by depressing the valve. Next, use your fingers to push the tire edge toward the center of the rim, starting from one end of the tire. Work your way around the entire tire until one side is off the rim. Remove the flat tube and replace it with a new one, making sure the valve is positioned correctly. Push the tire edge back onto the rim beginning opposite the valve stem, using your thumbs to keep the tire edge inside the rim. Once the tire is back on the rim, inflate the tire and reattach the wheel to your bike.
