How to Perfectly Jump Gaps on a Mountain Bike
When approaching a gap on a mountain bike, approach with enough speed and pop off the lip with your knees and arms softly bent to absorb the impact. Pull up on the handlebars to get the front wheel up and over the gap first, then push down on the bars to level the bike out and land on the back wheel, absorbing the impact with your legs. Practice starting small, gradually building up to bigger gaps as your technique improves. Always wear appropriate safety gear and respect your own abilities and limits.
