How to Successfully Jump a Ramp on a Mountain Bike

To jump a ramp on a mountain bike, approach the ramp with enough speed. As you reach the ramp, preload your bike by compressing into the suspension. At the base of the ramp, push up through your legs and pull back on the handlebars to lift the front wheel. As the rear of the bike hits the lip of the ramp, push up with your legs and extend your arms to level out the bike.
